SOUTH PARK TV SHOW

So, how are you doing the South Park fans? Okay, waiting for the next episode of your very favorite animation TV show ‘South Park’.  Let me tell you that the wait is gonna be pretty long as the next episode of the show is scheduled to be aired on October 7, 2009. Series is on hiatus and the network is reluctant to even disclose the name of the upcoming episode.

Over the course of South Park’s 12 years run on Comedy Central, things have never been very easy for the show and it’s always been a center of the controversies. As we all know that South Park deals with taboo subject matters, general toilet humor, ignorance of decency standards, and even the religious matters are used to arouse humor at times. All this has led South Park to be the cause of debates throughout the world.

Show creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker, who also pen the stories of most of the South Park Episodes, have always replied to such kind of accusations by regarding themselves as “equal opportunity offenders”. It has happened so many times that special groups start asking for the shut-down of South Park for hitting on their personal beliefs and feelings. Even, schools also took initiatives to take their students away from South Park. It was reported that in the beginning of South Park, several students in Georgia and Connecticut were suspended from their schools for wearing South Park type of T-shirts. And, various schools carried out small-level campaigns to make the parents aware about South Park’s content. Though it is one of the most criticized animated TV shows, South Park has never hesitated to lampoon celebrities and popular figures. And, it again resulted in some more tilts.

Hats off to the minds behind South Park TV show! The show has managed to get a huge fan base, including kids, teenagers and youngsters, throughout the world.
