SOUTH PARK TV SHOW

Let people say that South Park is crude, surreal, and dark show, my love for series would never come to an end. Since I have started watching the show, I have been a huge fan of the series and have never missed any of the South Park episodes. Of course, all its episodes are very entertaining, and the characters are above all. Those sweet and funny buddies… yeah, I am talking about Stan Marsh, Kyle Broflovski, Eric Cartman, and Kenny McCormick. Who can forget their bizarre activities in the Colorado town…. they are rocking .

Well, from now onwards, we will be talking about South Park characters every weekend. And, this weekend is devoted to Eric Cartman, the character which is described as a little Archie Bunker by the series creators, Parker and Stone. Eric is shockingly profane and his tendency to be politically incorrect has been the center of controversies since the premiere of South Park.

So, Eric is a student of Mr. Garrison’s fourth grade class. Initially, everybody believes that Liane Cartman, a promiscuous single parent, whom he lives with, is his mother. Identity of his father comes into light in the episode entitled ‘Cartman’s Mom Is Still a Dirty Slut’. Who might have believed that the one who’s always considered as his mother is actually his father? I know you would hit your head with the wall if you’ve not watched that episode. How a woman can father a kid… yeah on South Park, she can!

Ah… the poor Eric… fat guy who is foul-mouthed also! His obesity always helped others to pass insulting comments to him. At times, Eric feels very insecure about his reputation in the school. Especially, in the season 12 episode entitled ‘Breast Cancer Show Ever’ in which he loses a fight to one of the classmates.

Well, though he always proves himself more mature than his fellow-mates, he’s the most kiddish buddy of the gang. Nobody can even think about South Park without Eric. South Park creator Trey Parker gives his voice to Eric Cartman.

South Park has recently finished the first part of the thirteenth season. The second part of South Park thirteenth season would be kicked off on October 7, 2009. Get ready to catch South Park upcoming episodes here.
