Did you catch Britney Spears on ‘South Park’?
Nowadays, most of the TV shows are following the latest trend to introduce celebrities in episodes in order to entertain the viewers. Many shows have already done so and ‘South Park’ is one of those good-rated shows.
Yeah, you caught my nigh nerve. I’m talking about Season 12 episode ‘Britney’s New Look’, aired on March 19, 08. In the episode, we see that Stan and Kyle are fed up with a Democratic Party debate. Cartooned Britney tries to escape her troubles in the privy town of South Park. While taking a vacation in the town, she has a run-in with the South Park kids. After an accident at a hotel, they help Britney to get rid of the celebrity life style and take her to a place where she can rest. Here, they also learn the secret what makes her so popular and gorgeous as well. In one scene, blasts her head off with a shotgun.
Ahh! Although, it was Britney centric episode but it was really not of ‘South Park’ type. I mean, it was just so-so episode. I never rank ‘South Park’ episodes so-so, but this one was so I have to. But, it was also good to see the kids helping a gorgeous and we enjoyed the theme a lot.
Britney Spears is not the only one who appeared on ‘South Park’, in fact, the list contain several times. Angelina Jolie, Tom Cruise, George Clooney and Jennifer Lopez have all been parodied already.
As of now, ‘South Park’ is running with season 12 and 9 episodes have been aired till now. Most Recent episode ‘Breast Cancer Show Ever’ was aired on October 15, 08. No news for the next episode.
